Dear Members and Polo Community,

As the start of the Autumn Polo season gets underway, it gives me great pleasure to provide you with an exciting update on the developments within the Windsor Polo Club (WPC).

Firstly, I would like to thank John Wayland and the 2009 Committee for their devotion and dedication to WPC throughout the year. I would also like to warmly welcome the new 2010 Committee, and with its energy I hope to see the Club capitalise on its strong position within polo community. We will keep you well informed of the initiatives for 2010 and I welcome any comments you may have on ways to continually improve the club.

I would like to update you on some of the benefits membership to the WPC entails:

• No Chukka Fees for ALL Windsor Tournament days
• No Chukka Fees for Mid-Week Chukkas
• Subsidised Chukka Fees at Killarney and Kurri Burri Tournaments
• Free Coaching from higher rated players during organised mid-week chukkas
• Free Admission to the WPC grounds on Test Match and High Profile Tournament days, and access to reserved WPC Members area
• Access to the Clubhouse and amenities block

On Sunday 28 March, Australia will fight for glory against its Tasman rival New Zealand at The WPC. This will be an exceptional match, showcasing Australia’s finest polo players and magnificent horses. In addition there will be an exciting Colts Match and a Zambia Vs NSW Match. A special thanks to Grant Cochrane and his team at Rural Press Events who have attracted some major sponsors for the Tournament which will underwrite its success. Lew McDonnell has also been instrumental in the organisation of this weekend and we are forever grateful for his time and effort.
