VisitorsThe Club always welcomes visitors to games. On most days entry is free. The exceptions are the Test days - the Test Match agains India on 9 April 2006 - and sometimes the Club Tournament. On Test days, the Club has sponsors who help us to defray the running costs of what is an international field. The Club, therefore reserves the western side of the field for the sponsors' guests, but makes sure that there is enough space for Life Members to sit with their picnics. Boot ParkingThe Club sells space on the eastern side for people who want to park next to the feild , open their boots and serve food and refreshments out of their boots. Entry gatesOn Test days, entry is only by the Eastern Gate near Richmond. The Western Gate is reserved for players, sponsors and officials such as Vets. Club HouseVisitors are welcome to the club house. Luis has been our outside caterer for over 10 years now and as an Argentinian he knows good steak and good polo. Life membersAll Life members with a badge are admitted free. Every Life Member is sent a program of the Club events every year which doubles as an entry ticket when it is displyed in the front window of the car. It admits the driver and the passenger free, but other occupants are to pay at the gate. We invite Life Members to bring their picnics over to the west side of the ground where there is plenty of space for you to sit. |
